BIONIC – NATURES’ PATENT

We have studied and employed lightweight construction for years. One seeks the perfect solutions in lightweight construction and finds it in Nature: in the wings of a bird or in a honeycomb …. Such natural construction is light yet disproportionably strong. We have taken this bionic principle from Nature and applied in our own technical application.

When light weight combined with strength is required then Nature turns to bracing. This principle we have employed in our SpaceFrame construction in our new Globelyst product range. The SpaceFrame enables us to achieve an extremely tough construction whilst reducing the mass of materials used and saving on weight. Nature shows us that intelligent light weight construction is not just dependent upon the materials chosen, The way those materials are used and combined with other materials produces the best solution.
